I've done a short "Google" search on Obama's horoscope and am not at all surprised on the various "readings", for the same set of planetary formations. This just goes to show that people can read the same information and put their own personal spin on it, no doubt based on personal prejudices. For example, John McCain is a "natural born leader". but Obama is not (as stated in this blog).
ReplyDeleteFrankly, I know that the stars reflect what is and we can change our destinies by improving the "negatives" within ourselves.
Apparently, that's something something the U.S. has to do--particularly in the areas of race and class. It's these ideas (e.g., because of my color/sex/money, etc. I'm owed special treatment) that have nearly ruined the nation. Who said, "Alas, dear Brutus the fault lies, now within the stars--but, in ourselves."
--Yes, we can.
I certainly have to eat my words, but I can tell you that it's a joyous meal. Sometimes it's great to be wrong :)

ReplyDeleteThere has been much speculation and reports that Obama was actually born in Mombasa, Kenya and not Honolulu, HI. Would be interesting to see an interpretation using same birth info (Aug. 4, 1961 at 7:24 pm) for that location.
ReplyDeletefor god's sake, people, focus! This is a Leo - how far do you wish to venture when looking for indicators of "born to rule"? It strikes me, that Kennedy with Saturn on the MC in Cancer got shot in the back of his head at the peak of his career - having been reluctant to assume leadership, from the very beginning. Obama never had a doubt - and Saturn in Capricorn is actually an asset to bringing stability to the current realm of Plutonic upheaval and possibly a bit of re-structuring. Whatever alterations time of day add or substract - the planet/sign placements should have been enough to leave no doubt about who has got leadership potential in this race....

I subscribe to an Eastern Astrology magazine (the Express Starteller) and found that all predictions, by sevearl contributors, about the outcome of the US Presidential elections were correct. Perhaps sidereal astrology has an edge over tropical astrology?
ReplyDeleteI have never tried sidereal astrology seriously, so I don't know - but indeed, it needs to be considered.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that sidereal and tropical horoscopes describe slightly different perspectives. If so, they should both work fine, provided that they are properly interpreted.
Regarding my mistaken prediciton about the presidential election, I have little else to blame than my own sloppy first reading. If I had initially compared Obama transits to earlier political events in his life, my inerpretation would surely have been different.
Wrong birthtime...perhaps.

How true this is working out. Actually I think Obama's self-regard, and lack of vision or anything other than self projection are working out badly for us in the US.
He's not a leader of significance, wasn't before he was elected, as was remarked by Democrats and Republicans alike, and by fair commenters. Nothing but a matinee idol.
John McCain was no prize either, but an honest old soldier who wanted to do well by his country. In America we say 'half a loaf is better than none'.

There has been nothing new written in astrology since the eighties Its boring repetitive and dangerous in its assumptions and presumptions. One of the few astrologers who acknowledges this, is Dennis Ewell a genuinely courageous and inquiring man. While obviously there is much in astrology, in many ways we all know next to nothing about it. If we started from that premise we might learn rather than try to control, and help rather than hinder.
The only reason he was elected was That Pluto was in Sagittarius Retrograde in November 2008 if pluto was already in capricorn he would have Lost. I am a Psychic Astrologer 99.9 Accurate

The astrologer should have used the true place of birth, Kenya, and the chart would have made more sense.
ReplyDeleteStrange people don't see any possibility of a Kenya birth even though African officials proclaim it, his relatives claim it, and the American news media report it as Kenya in his early years as a Senator.
